Lovely little setting. Wasnt the warmest day to go and quite wet too. I only had scone and tea but it was outstanding. Staff kept busy with steady stream of customers. A work in progress but very impressed with what they've achieved so far. I like that they gave dedicated disabled parking but I didn't see any signs so people might avoid when they see the cars parked along the road.

A fantastic cafe by the river Barrow. Great to have a meal before or after a walk by the river. Food is great and staff are friendly. Great ambience in the summer. Nice exhibits on the history of the river in the barn outside the cafe.

Gorgeous food, great museum, lovely old building on the banks of the Barrow. A lovely relaxed place to enjoy great food, overlooking the river. Very interesting insights into the lives of the people who lived and worked on this important old transport route. Great walks along the river bank in both directions from Goodly Barrow - build up an appetite and then indulge yourself!
